Brandon Williams has come out in strong defence of former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Insisting he should not have been sack. And that the former boss was the man who brought the club’s ‘true DNA’ back to Old Trafford. Williams,

24, rose through the ranks at United. And was given his first-team debut by Solskjaer in 2019. Making 36 appearances in his first season. And was regarded as one of the club’s most promising young players at the time.

“For me, he was probably the best I’ve ever worked with,” Williams said of Solskjaer during an interview with Ben Foster’s Fozcast.

“Even off the pitch, he’d always come up to you, talk to you, ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี give you advice, especially because I was so young at the time. He was a great mentor.

“I don’t think he should have been sack, to be honest. I think he’s got the club going in the right direction.

“He knows the club, he knows what the club is like, he knows the DNA of the club. That’s something I’ve had since I was a kid… the United way. I feel like he’s brought that back to me.”

Williams has reveales. It was United legend Patrice Evra. Who first recommended him to Solskjaer. With Evra working with United’s Under-21s while studying for his coaching licence and telling the Norwegian: “You’ve got to give this boy a chance.”
